The medical profession
Has at least one grand obsession
If it cannot diagnose your case,
and your problems cannot place,
ot will put you in disgrace
And will say behind your face
We don’t mean to be despotic,
but we find that he’s neurotic
Since we cannot find a reason
For his aches and pains in season,
cannot name a name exotic
We must call it plain neurotic!
For they think they’ve learned a lesson

‘Every symptom has a reason,
everyache and pain in season’.
