#MyanmarTrip – The Departure

Weekly Photo Challenge: Future Tense

In grammar, a future tense is a verb form that marks the event described by the verb as not having happened yet, but expected to happen in the future.

This week photo challenge is about “future tense“, which will be expected for some visions of the future, daydreams, and wishes frozen in time.

And it is still phoneography month, and yes, phoneography means took a photo with your phone ^_^ so the pictures below are taken from my camera phone.

Below is the photo of incoming train, nearby my home. This train has not arrived yet, but it is expected to arrived in the future, which is in a few minutes after I took this picture.

No one can see the future, nobody can guess what the future is. The train above is expected to be arrive in a few minutes after the shoot. But nobody can be really sure whether the train will be stop, or just passing by, or explode!

Since nobody knows exactly what will happen about their future, so we put our hope and expectation to wishes, dreams, and prayers for our future. Below is a picture of one of the streets in Yangon – Myanmar. I took a short walk nearby of our hotel.

At that time I walk, I walk, I walk on the street. Without knowing what will happen at the end of the road. It was a different country and different language they use. Curious killed the scary part, and my feet just walk on. My expectation is at the end of the road I will find something interesting to write about ^_^

The future is the indefinite time period after the present. Its arrival is considered inevitable due to the existence of time and the laws of physics.

And as I write this post, I remember a quote : “The past can not be changed, and the future is unsure. But we can learn from the past and change a better future.”

So, how about you? How about your future?
Do you think you know what will happen? Did you ever pray for your future? Tell me :)

Weekly Photo Challenge : Lunchtime

Eating is something that you should do if you a human. Of course, any mankind on this earth surely like to eat. Especially when we are in a deep hungry state.

Anyway, in the big city, lunchtime has so many meaning. Lunch meeting, lunch date, etc. And lunch typically falls in the early-middle of the working day, it can either be eaten on a break from work, or as part of the workday. The difference between those who work through lunch and those who take it off could be a matter of cultural, social class, bargaining power, or the nature of the work.

Regularly, I cooked my own lunch, and bring it to the work. It is just for financial reason :p but when I woke up late or when I just don’t have any mood to cook, I will have lunch nearby my workplace. Nothing special with my daily lunchtime.

Last Christmas day, I had lunch with some of my family. It was something that unusual, since we are rarely meet each other. Here’s a picture of us, happily eating those Szechuan dining.

Playlist of the Week

Every morning and afternoon when I drive to my work, I often listen to the radio. Actually any kind of the radio, but recently I stay tuned on Cosmopolitan FM radio.

There are some songs that really into me.

First one is “Be OK” from Ingrid Michaelson.
This song actually was her first single. The song was featured in a commercial break, some TV serials. It wasn’t that cheesy and the very simple refrain of the song caught by my ears. I quickly soundhound the song, and found the title :D

“I just want to be ok, be ok, be ok / I just want to be ok today / I just want to feel today, feel today, feel today / I just want to feel something today”

Yes, I just want to be ok today, tomorrow, and everafter ^_^

Second one is “Home” by Phillip Phillips.
“Home” is the debut single and coronation song from American Idol season 11 winner Phillip Phillips. The lyric is so touchy, and I suddenly feel that I wanna go home. Yes, home. But where’s my home?

I want someone say to me that “….The trouble it might drag you down / If you get lost, you can always be found / Just know you’re not alone / Cause I’m gonna make this place your home…”

Third, “It’s Amazing” a song by Jem.
This song was the first single released from her second album Down to Earth. The song was featured in the 2008 film Sex and the City and on the official soundtrack.

It was a great song to encourage people who are in a deep frustration, and can get up back to their feet again. “It’s amazing, it makes my heart sing…. Yes you will hit a wall / But get back on your feet / And you’ll be stronger and smarter…”

Fourth, it’s The Sundays with their “When I’m Thinking About You” :)
It’s one of the songs in Static and Silence album of The Sundays.

Remember my post L’amour et la Douleur? At the end of the post, I wish that I don’t want to wake up? I think this song is good to go with that post :)

Let the daydream for a little while longer / ah.. yeah… / hope I’ll never wake / when I’m thinking about you / (yeah) hope I’ll never wake / cos now I’m thinking about you

Fifth, Way Back Into Love by Hugh Grant.
This song is a pop song, written by Adam Schlesinger, from the 2007 film Music and Lyrics. There are two versions: a demo version sung by Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore and the final version sung by Hugh Grant and Haley Bennett.
It was used as the love theme in the film, much of whose plot revolves around the writing and arranging of the song.

And the refrain really made me in a mellow mode of mood hahaha :D
“All I wanna do is find a way back into love. / I can’t make it through without a way back into love.”

And if I open my heart to you,
I’m hoping you’ll show me what to do,
And if you help me to start again,
You know that I’ll be there for you in the end!

There… are my playlist of the week. How about yours? ^_^

Weekly Photo Challenge : My Neighborhood

It’s a phoneography challenge from The Daily Post!

Every week Daily Post giving us photo challenge that we can post any kind of photos or pictures depends on the theme of the week. Since this week, Daily Post start to give challenge on phoneography. Phoneography means took a photo with your phone ^_^

Here’s the challenge :

To kick this off, grab your phone and head out the door. That’s right — get on your feet and go outside to explore — and document — where you live. I want to see your neighborhood: The path you take for your daily morning run. Your local coffee shop or dive bar. The nearby alley of street and community art. A shot of the intersection that perfectly captures the bustle of your own corner of town.

So?

Welcome to my neighborhood. I didn’t live in a town that full of green green grass of home. I live in a very busy city : Jakarta – Indonesia.
I also didn’t live in a house that surrounded by green park. I live in a simple apartment in the middle of the busy city.

What I like is… the morning scene from my 10th level window. Captured last year.

Sunrise from my window room

Not every morning I found this scene, since I am not a morning person :D

L’amour et la douleur

Something that blazing away
Thinking a thought that never get over
It’s a thing that left unsaid

Millions languages can describe that

It’s a thing that left unveil
It’s a thing that left unreveal
Per Gessle said, can you tell me where it leads
when it’s never ending?

Hang on like an overcast sky
Drops fallen from the eyes in the middle of no where

People said that love and pain became one in a package
It will hurt you and giving you laughter in the same time
Do the hocus pocus thing to me, and let me keep dream on

Because when I awake, I found nothing but you
..and you’re not alone.

Hello Again

Hello blog, how are you?

Sudah cukup lama blog ini ditinggalkan, hingga udah penuh jaring laba-laba sana sini haha :D Baru sadar, postingan terakhir itu bulan November 2012. I even didn’t write about my resolutions, my kaleidoscopes, like others did.

So much things to do, so much things to think, so much problems in the head, bikin jadi gak kreatif dan gak bisa ngapa-ngapain. Well, I am not gonna blame my problems, but I’m gonna blame myself, kenapa nggak mau berusaha untuk bisa nulis paling enggak beberapa postingan >.<

blogging

Lately I met this passionate blogger in Malang, Ghea, di sebuah acara bernama WikuFest 2013.

Recharged, I guess? :D

Semoga bisa terlaksana ^_^

Time of My Life

Now I’ve had the time of my life
No I never felt like this before
Yes I swear it’s the truth
and I owe it all to you

‘Cause I’ve had the time of my life
and I owe it all to you

Lagu di atas adalah cuplikan dari lagu (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life yang menjadi soundtrack dari film Dirty Dancing (1987). Dipopulerkan oleh Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes pada saat itu, dan dinyanyikan plus diremix ulang oleh The Black Eyed Peas ^_^

Yes, I’ve had the time of my life :) Ada banyak waktu dan masa yang bahagia, yang susah, yang senang, yang sedih.

I wrote this to encourage myself, too ^_^

November pertengahan kemarin, saya ulang tahun. Terima kasih buat patjar tercinta, saya dikasih hadiah super istimewa :) just like what I need at the right moment :) Apa itu? Ya ada deh ^_^ thanks dear :*

Doa saya nggak muluk-muluk.

Amin. :)

Yes, I’ve had the time of my life
and I owe it all to you

So that’s the time of my life, how about you? :)

Not just because the awesomeness of Genting, tetapi juga karena uber awesome of the travelmates yang membuat sarapan di hari ketiga ini agak lesu :D

Coffee Terrace
Asian or western, nyonya style or local cuisine, american breakfast only with toast, or chinese dimsum, japanese cuisine, etc etc.

Group photo with Ms. Kenix, after breakfast ^_^
